FEATURED:

Frankie's article explores the nature of the Conservative Party in a political climate where social policy is superseding economics. With Generation Z focusing so strongly on a liberal society, can the Conservative Party stay relevant for the youth without reforming their traditional stance on society?

Our first issue explores the theme of party politics and its relevance in British Politics today. The full issue can be found in the Magazine section of our website, with articles debating the effectiveness of party politics, giving history on different parties and, in some cases, claiming that both major parties are failing.

WHO WE ARE

Petty Bourgeoisie is a youth publication that was created to showcase the political thoughts of Generation Z in Britain. We aim to portray a balanced view of the British political climate from the youth perspective, although due to our reliance on contributions, bias may occur naturally. Each Issue of the magazine that we create will focus on a different topic based on its relevance to current events, its controversy and its popularity. Contributions are open to anyone who has something to say as we aim to represent as many opinions as possible.

Meet the Editors! We - Ria (Left) and Frankie (Right) - created this project to give a platform for young people to express their political views, free from ideological constraint or the formality of school. Through this publication, anyone can write or create about current events whether that is in a serious format or through work laden with satire - we hope people can debate no matter their views.
